Our Story
At Edgewater Insurance Group, we believe in the power of collaboration, experience, and a personal touch when it comes to insurance. Founded by Jake and Andrew, our agency brings together a unique blend of expertise in risk management, customer service, and community-oriented values. While the company itself is a recent venture, the story behind it began years ago in Salem, Massachusetts, where Jake and Andrew first crossed paths.
In 2017, the two worked together as bartenders, serving drinks and building a strong friendship while honing their skills in customer service. Little did they know that these shared experiences would set the foundation for a much larger partnership in the future. Both had a strong interest in business and personal finance, but it wasn’t until 2021 that they reconnected, each having ventured into different sectors of the insurance industry.
Jake was already working in personal lines insurance, specializing in helping families and individuals find the best coverage for their needs, while Andrew had focused on life insurance, advising families and individuals on how to protect their loved ones and secure their financial futures. Recognizing the opportunity to combine their strengths, they decided to join forces and launch Edgewater Insurance Group, a firm dedicated to providing clients with comprehensive life insurance solutions and a personal, consultative experience.

Jake Castinetti - President of Property and Casualty
Jake Castinetti is the president and co-owner of Edgewater Insurance Group. Born and raised in Saugus, MA, Jake has formed deep roots in the north shore community. Jake is involved in many local organizations and will always lend a helping hand to the community whenever possible. With over 7 years of experience in the insurance industry, Jake brings knowledge and customer service to the next level. In addition to helping his customers, Jake enjoys golfing and spending time with friends and family.
Andrew Turcotte - President of Life and Financial Services
Andrew is a seasoned financial consultant with over five years of experience in the industry, originally from Waltham, MA. Beyond his work in financial consulting, Andrew is deeply committed to the addiction recovery community in Massachusetts. His connection to the community is personal and profound, driven by a desire to give back and help those facing challenges build a better, more stable financial future. Andrew combines his professional expertise with a compassionate approach, striving to empower others not only in their financial journeys but also in their pursuit of long-term goals.
Tino Dandini- Director of Marketing
Santino is our Marketing Director, bringing a data-driven approach to customer growth and a passion for connecting individuals and families with the right insurance solutions. With over five years of experience in digital marketing, he specializes in paid search and paid social, with deep expertise in insurance and financial products. Santino combines strategic thinking with analytical rigor to enhance the customer experience, optimize the path to conversion, and fuel sustainable, long-term growth.
Pat Woods - Director of Life Insurance
Patrick Woods is a licensed insurance broker and the Director of Life Insurance at Edgewater Insurance Group. Having worked alongside Jake and Andrew since first earning his license, Patrick has been a trusted part of the team since the very beginning.
Family-oriented at his core, he believes strongly in health, nutrition, exercise, and planning for the future. With genuine care for the people he works with, Patrick takes knowledge and customer service to the next level. Outside of work, he's an avid sports fan and a devoted father.
Nick Zell - Producer
Nick is an independent insurance agent with four years of experience helping families and individuals protect what matters most. He specializes in auto, home, commercial and life insurances.
Nick takes pride in delivering personalized solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs. His goal is to make the process simple, straightforward, and stress-free, ensuring his clients feel confident knowing their loved ones are protected.
